The Pen is mightier than the Sword! It is a battle for the hearts and minds of the fans!

The thing is that when you get a group of people thrown together through a common cause, you will eventually find that through time you will end up with a battle to decide who become the 'Leader' or 'Head Honcho'. Such is what is happening in regards to the Fans over in California. It has boiled down to a contention between Taaj Malik and Erin Jacobs and Amy Kines (both the driving force behind the Justice4MJ  and Official Michael Jackson Fans of Southern California).
Basically Taaj's battle with Erin & Amy boils down to two things:-




1. A battle for supremeacy (in regards to the hearts and minds of the fans)



&



2) A battle for the limelight



The problem is that Taaj is probably more than aware that Erin & Amy are streets ahead in both. Taaj is of the personality that she needs/craves attention and will do anything to get it (well nearly everything). To her the only way to achieve this is through her bullyboy tactics. Since she has yet to set up any really worthwhile intiatives or publish any really informative blogs!! She also seems to think that she can gain supremeacy riding on the shirt tails of others.



This is I feel a natural progression, in that it is a sort of 'survival of the fittest'. Through this will be born the stronger group which will then go on and lead the fans for the duration. To me it is a 'no contest', since I have yet to see any of Taaj's group really supporting her!! Infact I would say if push came to shove and Taaj dropped off the face of the earth one day, they would all be rushing to join J4MJ and OMJFSC!!



Taaj's fans are I think, primarily relative youngsters who are easily led, the older ones are again of the same mind-set as Taaj, in that they need and crave their dose of celebrity and they think by hanging onto Taaj they will get it!



The big difference between Taaj and Erin & Amy is that the latter fight for Michael, the fans and also dont treat their fans as if they are stupid, where as Taaj is just in it for herself and obviously does not think a lot of her fans!


Put it this way I am putting my money on the fact that this time next year Justice4MJ and OMJFSCF will be the two main groups that fans will look to for guidance and information.
